Look at me with my fancy footwork. If you see me coming better step aside, at 34 kgs we will!. Ran in his 100th race last week which he took at his leisure. Five and a quarter lengths, no less. All the others saw was his backside. Blake is running again in a few hours at Towcester, hopefully to add to his total of twenty wins, including Opens.
A big strong lad. Probably not suitable for rehoming with another dog but might accept a bitch if she was really attractive. He is a ten after all.
Right now though he’s going to work. Things to do, people to see.
“Blake was still in his PJ’s, taking it easy when I went to meet him, because he is recovering from a broken leg (back right). As a result, his racing days are over and Blake is practicing for his lazy Sunday morning household pet days to come. He is a medium size lad who loves attention and affection. He came straight up for me to stroke and wanted as much attention as he could get! His trainer tells us he is very laid back, doesn’t bark much and is super good when it comes to getting his nails clipped – which is always a bonus!”.

Logan’s brother and off to the races with him this afternoon. Ten wins under his belt and as beautiful with it. Likes girls. Tough as teak and no trouble in the kennels. Driller is the dog who would kennel safely with the bitches.
A nice kind dog, but he is off to work now. Driller has heard he is racing against 5 bitches.
Try and look cool Driller. Play hard to get.
“Driller is fondly known as Drill. He is a medium size lad with the longest, pointiest face and a slightly overbite that just screams adorable. He is related to Pacino but with a darker brindle coat and chocolate eyes. Driller is ever so friendly and sniffy – so interested in me and lovely to walk“

Lightly raced but with a superb strike rate. Fifteen wins including a couple of Opens.
“If you like a big (he’s big) and handsome (oh yes) friendly (super) boy, Smasher’s your lad. He was so excited to see me but soon settled as we set out for a walk. He was calm and more than happy to walk along by my side. When we stopped, he leaned in to me and gave little kisses as I stroked him. He was an absolute pleasure to walk.”
He is large, he is gentle, he is so handsome. Also so talented, won again twice this month. That’s seventeen wins. Time to let the others have a turn Smasher.

Pacino’s career faded into oblivion a couple of weeks ago, trailing in last at Towcester. Two of his vanquishers were his own kennel mates. Pistols at dawn on the way home. The writing had been on the wall form wise and his trainer decided sooner rather than later.
He is clearly destined for better things. Here is what we know.
Pacino is a medium/larger super friendly lad. He is a little bit wary of the unknown but very people friendly. He has beautiful brindle & white fur with topaz eyes – gentle & handsome. He was super friendly with me and walked nicely by my side, moving in for a Greyhound lean when we stopped. He is such a gentleman as when I went back to shut a gate, he insisted he wait for me so we could walk along together again. What a gent!

Dolce was once called “It’s for Me” but lets face it, that’s a little plain. When your old Mum is called Dolce Vita……..well, she feels more Italian.
Dolce is a petite girl and is extremely sweet, well that’s what her name means. As you walk her, she attaches herself to your legs and when you stop, she leans on you. Dolce has the softest, silkiest fur and loves to be cuddled. She spends her kennel time curled up with her boyfriend, Harold but seems to really like people cuddles too. She would definitely be a snuggler in her forever home.
Don’t be fooled though, Dolce is from a family renowned for being as tough as teak. Most of her siblings have landed an Open race or two and her thumping big brother, Table Toppers, took a Group One. Dolce is a veteran of 75 battles, winning ten of them. The lady ran a fortnight ago, coming second but her track life is coming to an end. Everyone would like to see her on a sofa sooner rather than later.
An exquisitely beautiful greyhound who won’t be around for long.

Buzz is a smaller boy with a beautiful brindle coat. He is ever so friendly and interested in you, particularly if you might be going to play with him as he is a very playful boy. He is not as confident as some and doesn’t like the nail clippers one bit! But he’s a friendly boy who loves, loves, loves to play and walks nicely on his lead.

His Mum, Pippy is worshipped by her owner/trainer/slave so Tia had better get this one right. Nelson doesn’t quite have her talent but still managed to take an Open before his career was cut short due to injury only a month ago.
He’s handsome, he is friendly, he is playful, he is great on a lead, he comes to his name, he knows how to pose and he is loved by all at the kennels. Nelson has been retired early due to an injury and because of this the kennels have spent more time walking & playing with hiim and he is already well on his way to a household & sofa. On top of being super friendly and playful, he is very handsome with a blue coat and amber eyes. I have more photos of Nelson than anyone else as he’s a poser!
What more can we say. Bring tissues when you meet him…….for the trainer.

Dinky and oozing with character. How she found the minerals for a successful career is beyond us.
Me Me Me. Honestly, so unprofessional.
Loves attention. Very cuddly. A real character – excitable & enthusiastic. She lets the kennel staff carry her around like a baby which is a new one on us. She’d let you do it all day long too.
Walked nicely on her lead.

Career petered out last April. Clever lad.
Quiet boy and very laid back. Kennelled on own currently but would be OK with a bitch. A gentleman. Likes his food. Brax is definitely a fair weather dog. He didn’t like the cold weather one bit and wanted to turn round and go back to bed. Could be tempted to take a few paces but only with treats!!
Hopefully we won’t have to wait until spring for him to show us his best side.
