Update on Escape now Eric

Update on Escape now Eric

We have decided to call him Eric.
He is doing extremely well, it is day 3 in his foster home and the progress already from day 1 is immense. It’s been a rocky road for the boy but he’s getting there. He’s been in the bath and had a good scrub up and now he’s all fluffy and smells beautiful.
He’s great in the car (photos attached), great with other dogs, not phased by cats, great with people and just genuinely a sweet loving boy, he’s been clean in the house and sleeps through the night. He likes it at the bottom of the stairs so we put a bed there for him,
He has free reign of the house, he’s not been up the stairs yet or on the sofa despite Samah being antisocial and buggering off to bed all the time, he’s not phased by it and he’s happy just being him. I think this will come with time as his confidence grows, he’s already come on leaps and bounds.
This boy I have no doubt will be ready for his forever home soon, please consider him and spread the word. We want to be able to foster and help as many as we can! Thank you 😊🥰

After being on medication for weeks, dropping down to 26kg and scaring us half to death, Phillip is on the mend. He has put on 3 kg and is feeling much happier.
It took a long while but he is almost ready for his forever home. Another couple of weeks just to make sure.
He is a lovely, not very bright, big soft lump.

We don’t know who it’s from, but we would like to say a huge thankyou for that and the other donations made…

Thanks ever so much….Deb

Thank you to Debra and Bob for allowing us to take in Wilbur as a Foster dog and for being willing to meet up half way. Well it turned out a bit further for them than us to be honest. He is settling in surprisingly well so far and seems to have made himself at home.

Just caught up with all the lovely messages, thanks guys. Wilbur is a great hit with all our campers here and enjoying all the attention. As he has absolutely no recall we have booked one of the enclosed fields nearby so he can have a good run about as well as lots of walks. I will update with pictures.

Wilbur enjoying a sunny day out at Lunan bay yesterday . He loves the beach and a paddle but didn’t like the waves too much. He also made new friends in the cafe. He seems to make friends wherever he goes.

Big soft lad in need of a home….

Yesterday we took our Samah to meet Escape as we have decided to foster him. This decision has not come lightly and we have made this decision because we feel he needs to get out of kennels ASAP, he is not a happy boy. He is 5 years old and he reminds us so much of our Franklin with his loving ways, puffing gums and licking us. We dearly miss Franklin and it was difficult seeing Samah with another dog but we’ve decided to give him a chance as it’s the right thing to do. They bonded instantly and Escape liked Samah a bit too much.😂
We really need to get him to a permanent home and we will post updates with his progress over the next few weeks. Happy to answer anyone’s questions about any of the dogs we have posted about and have knowledge of.
We are planning to have one of the boys from Tia so we need to make room for one of these with the help of someone taking Escape on permanently. Escape will steal your heart instantly he is such a calm, caring and loving boy.
We are not doing this because of his colour, age or anything like that we are doing it because over the past few weeks we have been walking Escape along with the others Mitchell, Essy, Teddy, Buck, Ranch, Sadie, Liam, Mikey etc and we feel Escape is the most unhappy boy in kennels and we want to help him out of there ASAP. We want to help them all but we have had to make our choice based on how we feel emotionally and Escape really has melted our hearts. However all the others still need homes as previously mentioned and Escape will need a permanent home.
Please consider giving Escape a permanent home, Debs is fully on board with us and we want to push and do the right thing for these dogs.
Please share and spread the word let’s get these dogs homes ASAP.

Salacres Armani

As you are probably aware, things have changed a lot in the way we are rehoming down in England. This is Salacres Armani. She is the 3rd one to have been rehomed direct from the trainer. He does have other dogs available so please look on the website.
We are still doing our very best and we have 3 greyhound girls coming up here next week for rehoming, as well as the beautiful boys already here.
Thanks Deb

This video shows the kennels that we have now. Whilst the internals will be the same in the new block, we really do need to get back to what we had before. I know this one in the video is okay, but we don’t do okay…

We have lots of kennel sponsors and it really does make a big difference.
Thanks everyone…Deb
