It is a sad state of affairs, for every one, the staff shortages, but i never thought it would come to this.

We only have 20 dogs in the rehoming block, we used to have around 50.

Obviously the sponsor block is full but we only have 3 staff in on any one day and we are really struggling to get more..

We have so many dogs waiting to come in, but we can’t take them because we can’t get the staff to look after them.

So it’s catch 22…..

It would help if we could get a volunteer dog walker, or two, every day. We do have a few days covered, thanks to the regular walkers but we do need 3 or 4 more to commit to a set day.

The dogs don’t know Xmas is coming, they just know they need to go out for a walk….

It is a very sad state of affairs…..Deb

Our own Mr Mole, perfectly captured and painted by a long term supporter of Tia. She did us a “one off” for an auction prize, but it is just too good not to share to his supporters…

The cards are £2.50 each and the prints are £25. The print measures 12″ x 12″ in its frame.

UPDATE….sadly he didn’t make it, his big beautiful heart could take no more…

Our beautiful big old boy isn’t well. He’s off to Oakham Equine hospital as I type.

He is 22 years old, but is best mates with Thunder. I hope they can find out what it is and he can be sorted but it’s very worrying at his age. Deb

Firstly i want to say that she is doing brilliantly. Thanks to Donaldson’s vets, as always and our lovely Becca who i am hoping is going to be a failed fosterer..

Secondly, you all know i don’t directly ask for money but on this occasion i needed to. ( I just hope no one fell for the scam emails ) The operation was around £1600 and thanks to everyone we raised just over £2000 for her. The rest of the money will go to her rehab when she has healed. Donaldson’s also have a rehabilitation centre.

So good news for this little princess….Hollie Arabella you are a lucky little girl.
