As i am sure you are aware there are a lot of changes going to be happening with Tia in the very near future.
We simply cannot carry on as we have been doing, with staff shortages, bills, wages and everything else going up i am afraid the first casualty is going to be the Halifax shop. It will be closing at the end of January. We will be having a sale until then to get rid of all the stock.
We have been in that shop since Dec 2009 and it is a very sad state of affairs. But the whole point of the shops is to make money for the dogs and it looks like they aren’t going to be viable moving forward.
I want to thank everyone who has supported the shop over the past twelve years.
Anyone wanting to take the shop over (it is in the best spot in town) please contact Richard Smith at the letting agents.

Today’s Sheffield 13 video is dedicated to the beautiful Ramble. What a character he was whilst in the kennels. Every day he would carry his bowl to bed after feed times and stand on his bed with it in his mouth bless him. He loves cuddles and tummy tickles. He lives in a home and is loving every minute. He is very much loved.

Todays Sheffield 13 video is dedicated to the lovely Rose. We don’t think the old gentleman had her very long as she was in better condition than the others. She found her forever home and shares it with her furry friend, a Dalmatian. She is very much loved

This next video is dedicated to Spot and Dot. We think these two are brother and sister. They love each other so much and their bond is so strong, especially for Dot as she dotes on her brother. Spot is laid back and he loves chilling in the paddock, and is often seen in the kennels in their bed with his feet up in the air. Dot well what can we say about her she’s such a happy girl. Her tail is always wagging and she’s always pleased to see you for a cuddle. They are very much loved

Most of the Sheffield 13 had horrendous teeth and lots had to be removed. This left some of them with little teeth at all. I can remember counting all of them, once all the dentals had been performed. There were over 250 teeth altogether.
This next video is dedicated to probably one of the oldest members of the Sheffield 13. The beautiful Moomar. She lived in a home and was called Mabel. Unfortunately she’s no longer with us, but she was very much loved and we remember her today. Bless her.

As we don’t have the birthdays to celebrate with the Sheffield 13 we are going to celebrate the day they arrived at Tia Rescue.
When the Sheffield 13 arrived at Tia Rescue on 29th December 2019, they were neglected, damaged and kept in the dark for so long. Wrecked emotionally and physically. Over the next few days we are going to be looking at them now.
This video is dedicated to one of them we called Winnie. She found her home and although she still struggles at times with her nervousness she is very much loved. Happy gotcha day Winnie.
