Some dogs you feel really sorry for. Middle aged, going grey before our eyes, not exactly good looking and very much a big black dog…
But then the right people turn up in the yard. Not fussy, no requirements, just wanting to give a dog a home. He sauntered off around the orchard with a spring in his step….Joe and his new mom & dad. There was no way they were going to get a look at any others, he was on a mission.
He had been here since May…He went to his new home just over a week ago…
Way to go Joe….Rocket Pocket 5 year old big black, very happy dog….

We are having a last minute raffle. This is the fantastic prize. The hamper is from Aldi valued £100 and we have added lots of alcohol. It will only run up to 10am on the 22nd December and we will be drawing it at 12noon on the 22nd December….£10 per ticket.

At the minute we have managed to find 2 new members of staff and we have enrolled a few dog walkers. Thanks to everyone who offered to help.
Hopefully we will be fine for a bit…famous last words.
Please feel free to pop in with goodies for the dogs but we are not really having visitors sadly. We can’t afford for any staff here at the farm to be poorly. The animals are, as always, the priority…

We always gets lots of Xmas presents for the animals at this time of year, most of the time we aren’t sure who from as they just come by courier..
But Lee rang up to see what we wanted and turned up a couple of days later with all this!! Thanks ever so much.
This is Thom, one of our new boys who didn’t have a clue what was going on but we got a nice picture in the end….
