Eday

Eday

I keep coming back to this picture of Eday. Because this to me just sums up a lot of what is wrong with the racing industry.

Eday was born in Ireland 1st March 2017. Her racing name was Denzone Bubble.

She has 35 races at Doncaster, the last one being in May 2019. She wasn’t very good, just a card filler.

When she came to Tia nine months later she was a very sorry sight. Even the trainers who fetched her in didn’t like her.

Her trainer was notorious for putting his dogs to sleep once they had finished racing.

He actually came to the farm to have words with me when I posted all over the internet the state of her.

Condition when she arrived at Tia….Disgusting! stinks, damaged hock and strap marks from an anti bark muzzle.

He lived in a built up area and any dogs that barked got the same treatment even though they were “allegedly illegal”

Thankfully Eday got a lovely home and made a full recovery. She was one of the lucky ones.
