Jim (Emers Jim)

born July 22

Tuxedo greyhound. Stunning. Born in Ireland. Failed to impress in his first run and red carded for life in his second. Bravo Jim.

A daft puppy who’s tail never stopped wagging on our walk.  Very friendly and playful and good with kids – would suit a family.  He likes to be involved and with you as much as possible.

We love this sort.

“Jim has been in foster since just before Christmas and, after being understandably overwhelmed to begin with, he is now starting to find his feet.  Jim is a very sweet natured boy who loves people.  He has settled quickly into his foster family’s routine and is clean in the house.  Jim loves to play with his toys but doesn’t destroy them and, providing he has his toys to play with, will settle when left for a couple of hours but is always delighted to see you when you return!

Jim has met and made friends with children and has been happy meeting dogs of all sizes.  He is currently living with another male Greyhound and we do think he would benefit from the company of another dog.  Jim can become worried if his environment gets too noisy.  He is easily reassured but does need a quiet, safe space to retreat to.

Jim likes his food but has an interesting way of eating it!  He takes a little bit of kibble out of his dish, takes it to the hallway, eats it and then goes back to get some more, sprinkling it all on route!

Jim has proven himself to be an adaptable boy who has settled well into home life and is now ready to start looking for his forever family.  We think Jim would make a great family pet and would enjoy living with sensible, older children.  Jim responds best to gentle learning and needs patient adopters who will give him time to settle into his new home”.
