2026 may be drawing to a close, but the 30th anniversary celebrations at TIA are continuing. And today, in collaboration with Persie Distillery, we are proud to announce the launch of Greyhound Gin!
Persie Distillery launched its first charity gins in 2018, and since 2022 have chosen to release a new Charity Collection limited edition each year, dedicated to a particular cause. Each Charity Collection spirit has raised between £1,000 and £5,000 for the nominated charity, and Tia Rescue is the lucky beneficiary this year.
Persie describe the gin as;
“…created for dog lovers who like a quick drink! We have captured the spirit of the breed with top notes of fresh fields to run free in, followed by the gentle settling warmth of your greyhound curled up on the sofa beside you.”
They also offer the option of having a picture of your dog (or dogs!) printed on the back of the bottle, as well as a custom name option. AND for those of you planning on purchasing this as a gift, you can even add a greetings card for the recipient to your order.

TIA continues to find loving homes for retired greyhounds across the country, and although we no longer rehome from our farm in Scotland, we are still home to our much-loved sponsor dogs: those who were unable to be rehomed.
Lana is the eldest, at fourteen. She arrived at Tia terrified – a bag of nerves – and was never considered suitable for rehoming. Now quite frail and sometimes wobbly on her feet, she still enjoys digging huge holes, chasing rabbits and doing zoomies in the garden.
