Strong silent type. Never hear him in the kennels. A lovely calm solid lad who needs to be an only dog. Probably holding his personality in check until he is out of the industry.  Well bred, winner of 21 races and owes the game nothing.

Great with people, Star last raced back in July, trailing in last. Trialled a couple of times last month but his heart isn’t in it anymore, At five years old, it is time to call it a day.

Come on son, let’s get you a home.

“Star was super excited and enthusiastic when he realised it was his turn for a trip to the park!  He will happily jump into the car by himself and lays down for the journey.  Star is a lovely friendly boy who is a pleasure to take out and, after a few minutes of initial excitement, walks nicely on a loose lead.  It was the first time Star has seen other breeds, and he understandably seemed a little unsure. His response was to back away rather than move towards them, but we are sure his confidence will grow with time and as other breeds become more familiar. Star didn’t react or bark at any of the breeds we saw, even 2 small dogs who were “jingling” along as they had bells on their coats!  Star loves to spend time sniffing and was quite happy walking on his own without another dog for company.  We think Star thoroughly enjoyed his walk because, upon returning to the kennels, he didn’t want to get out of the car!  A really lovely boy who is being overlooked and deserves his chance to shine.”
