Less than 2 weeks to go to our all breeds fun dog show, celebrating 30 years of Tia Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue!
Sun 30th August at Manor Heath Park, Halifax. The stalls open at 10am, with the dog show starting at 12 noon. It’s £2 per entry per class. Please bring cash if you can.
Get your creative thinking caps on as we have a new class this year – Best Fancy Dress with a ‘30’ theme. More info coming soon.

Last week our sponsor dogs Kiona and Vasco celebrated their birthdays!
Kiona is a very sprightly nine-year-old and a big part of the handsome Vasco’s world. She had a lovely day and endured the extra snogs with good grace.
The old girl is a far cry from the terrified mess that landed on the yard all those years ago. Hope you have many more years at your boyfriend’s side.
Drinks on the house!
Well, they should be, as Vasco (Drinksonthehouse) was 11 last week too. Kiona is still two years younger than you, you great fat lump.
For all his bulk, Vasco relies on his girlfriend completely and would willingly skip the birthday fuss for a nibble of her ear. Total wuss, in fact.

Bradford to Tia bike ride in memory of Tony Coates
They are completing this in memory of Tony Coates who sadly passed away from a brain tumour. The ride is starting in Bradford and will finish at the Tia farm in Nairn, with all cash donations going directly to Tia.
You can donate online through the donate button, reference Tony, at the Halifax Show or at the Pickering charity shop. Please put any donations in an envelope addressed to Tony’s bike ride.
