Woody
So it has been confirmed. He does have stomach cancer. He is on steroids, so hopefully we will have him a while longer yet. Only trouble is, it’s stopping him pooping.
No matter how long he has left, we will look after him the best we can. He will let us know when it’s time to say goodbye.
That’s 10 dogs this year..10 beautiful souls.
You can sponsor Woody and help support his care here. Thank you.
Rehoming
Rolo
Rolo is quite literally on the look out for his forever home! This gorgeous boy has been in foster less than 2 weeks and is described by his foster family as “an absolute dream”.
Rolo’s favourite things are playing with his hound brother and sister, and getting lots of cuddles and fuss from the humans.
Brindle Boys
Even our beautiful brindle boys are finding it hard to get homes at the minute.
The girls, whatever their colour, continue to get snapped up. Some are reserved before they even make it on to the website. And we receive multiple enquiries for the same dogs. Obviously it’s great to see the girls getting adopted quickly but it’s such a shame for our boys who are all equally deserving.
If you can consider giving one of these lovely chaps a home, PLEASE do.
Boost and Annie
Boost & Annie have a pact. Neither is going anywhere without the other. In the words of Kate and Leonardo aboard the sinking Titanic, when it comes to Boost & Annie… “you jump, I jump” and whatever the future holds (hopefully no icebergs!), this pair will face it together.
Boost is a quiet, gentle boy who walks calmly on his lead. His brother, Rolo, has quickly settled into his foster home and we see no reason why Boost wouldn’t be the same. Boost is friendly with people, whereas Annie is a bit more timid & unsure but once she trusts you, she’s a lovely friendly girl. Annie gains a lot of confidence from having Boost by her side and they will settle in to their new lives much more quickly as a pair.
We know finding a home for two is always harder but we also know it’s not impossible. The bond between these two is special and whilst we don’t want them to wait longer nor do we want to split them up.
Romeo
Yesterday Romeo waved goodbye to his kennel-mate, Lizzie, so he’s now on the look out for a new Juliet. Romeo has just turned 4 and is a placid sort. A gentleman. He’s also a total hunk
Romeo likes plenty of company, so he would benefit from having someone around most of the time. Someone retired or working from home would be perfect!
If you think you can offer a Tia dog a home, please get in touch at rehoming@tia-rescue.org. We ask for a minimum donation of £350 to adopt a Tia dog.
Please leave your phone number in the email!
