Rehoming

Available for rehoming

December is just around the corner! But, before we all tuck in to the turkey, we have one final transport to Scotland planned for 14th December.

Santa already has a few very special packages on his sleigh, but he still has room for more! And there is only one thing our hounds have on their Christmas list this year… it is of course… a home!

Here are just a few of the dogs keeping everything crossed that they’ll be on the transport and “driving home for Christmas”

If you’re based in Scotland, and can help get one of our hounds home, please email rehoming@tia-rescue.org. Please include your phone number in the email.

We request a minimum donation of £350 to adopt.

Redbrick Brothers

This week there’s been good news for two of the Redbrick Brothers! Mars has been reserved by a lovely family and will be heading North of the border in mid December. Rolo meanwhile has found himself in a wonderful short-term foster whilst he waits to find his forever family.

24 hours in, and his foster family tell us he’s a super affectionate boy who is already clean in the house and will wait by the door when he needs to go outside.

It’s great to see these overlooked black boys finally getting their chance. Like so many, they had both been waiting far too long.

Jet

A seriously striking boy, Jet is only 2 years old and really just a baby. He’s quite a serious soul who gets top marks for manners in his kennel. He is never any trouble and spends most of his time laid quietly in his bed.

Jet is very recently retired due to a muscle injury and needs someone to show him there is life away from the track. He’s quite keen at the minute but once Jet understands that trips to the park and for strolls & sniffs, he’ll be just fine.

Woody

On the last check on Wednesday, Woody was really lame on his back right leg. I think its his hip. He has been quiet for ages, but i just thought he was missing Maha. He’s off his food too.

Lets hope it’s nothing horrible. I am seriously fed up of losing these old dogs. He is no bother in the office/house/large dog kennel, so here he will stay.

It costs just £52 per year to sponsor Woody – you can do so here.

Kenny

Here’s Little Kenny heading off back down to Hornsea, at stupid o’clock, to be reunited with his previous owner, Julie, who makes the dog collars. Safe journey little man.

Kenny was originally from the death field in Wroot. He was 2 weeks old when we got him…his mom had died. He is now six years old…gonna miss you…

Thanks again to Gillies Horse Transport, who are simply the best…
