Magic

Ruffian Magic, born 8/9/21

Followers of the Tia Facebook page will have read about Magic in the last week or so; this young greyhound girl was quite poorly, but is thankfully doing better now.

It started in February – she looked fine, but something wasn’t quite right. She became a very picky eater and was losing weight rapidly, so we got her checked out.

Her platelets – which should have been over 150 – were 6.

The vet thinks she’s had a nasty kidney infection, which may or may not have caused permanent damage; we just need to keep going with the medication. Thankfully it is not the horrible C word.

She has started eating more again, and has generally made a massive improvement, which is brilliant. She’s a little fighter, and her foster parents are absolutely made up.

The importance of foster people is massive. She has only been with them a couple of weeks, but she is seriously loved and being spoiled.

Keep going little greyhound girl, you have a lot to look forward to.

Thanks to everyone who has donated to help with her vet costs; any and all support is hugely appreciated. Donations accepted via bank transfer.

Rehoming

Ridley

Ridley, off to his new home on Orkney…be good big lad.

Domino

Gone in 60 seconds… well, 10 days. Domino was a stray from East Yorkshire, sprung from the pound in Hull. He has now gone to his new home with his foster mom and dad on the Isle of Skye.

Focker certainly took to him while he was here, and she doesn’t normally like other dogs, but she liked him a lot.

What a lucky boy. Be good Domino… and be happy.

Lennon

With 11 wins in his back catalogue, Lennon is looking for a change of direction.

This young, friendly boy isn’t asking for much… just love, love… love is all he needs… and a sofa (of course!).

Lennon is in Doncaster; if you can Help! and give him the retirement he deserves, please call Deb on 07974 960684.

Lulu

“If dogs did supermodels, Lulu would be gracing the cover of Vogue! She has it all – stunning looks, sweet temperament and a figure to envy. But Lulu is not yet living the high life and is dreaming of a sofa and people who worship her daily. Their ability to multi-task as her paparazzi, personal trainer, chef, chauffeur, stylist and social media manager is also preferred.”

Lulu is in Doncaster; please call Deb on 07974 960684 if you can make Lulu’s dreams come true.

We have lots of other dogs also looking for homes here.

Farm Sitting

The first farm sitters, Clare & Shane were here for a week and were amazing help.

Not just in the kennels, and doing the final checks on an evening, but they also got to take some dogs to the beach.

Of course they fell in love with Bellamy…

Thank you both.
