A Great Week

The week started with a call about a little black Greyhound girl and ended with a call about a red fawn Lurcher boy. Both only young… both in urgent need. And it goes without saying, when we get calls like this… we don’t hang around!

The little black girl was whisked straight into foster and is now known as Mabel, whilst the Lurcher boy was taken straight to Donaldsons to receive care for a broken leg. He is now known as Rowan.

And in even more amazing news, BOTH had found forever homes within hours of arriving into Tia’s care!

And if that wasn’t enough… beautiful blue boy Slick was adopted this weekend and is already settling into his new home. And there is good news on the horizon for our beautiful, overlooked black boy, Brax.

Thanks to Tia and everyone involved, the futures of these four dogs have quite literally changed overnight.

Cannon Hall Walk

A few photos from our Tia Walk on 12th October. The weather was great, and we had a lovely day!

We’ll be back at Cannon Hall for our Tia Christmas Walk on Sunday 13th December. There won’t be a stall that day, though.

Our next stall will be at Wakefield Trinity Walk, near Sainsbury’s, on Saturday 24th October. Come along and say hello!
