Nowisnotthetime and Notsofardarlin
Earlier this week, these two beauties travelled from Doncaster to Scotland to begin their new lives.
Nowsnotthetime (brindle) and Notsofardarlin (fawn) had possibly the worst racing names we had ever heard! But one thing’s for sure… this pair have landed on their paws and have found themselves the best home.
Thank you to their adopters and to the legend that is Andy for the safe transport. Two more happy hounds!

A message from Hugo, who went to his new home last week…
“Ey up, me old cockers! Hugo here.”
When Deb bid me “ta’ra” on Tuesday and told me I’d have nowt to worry about down in Yorkshire, she wasn’t wrong. Turns out, it was as reyt as rain down there, and I was settling in well and even learning a bit of the lingo.
Ta-ta for now. I was off for some adventures…”

Pickering 1940s Weekend – October
Step back in time with Pickering 1940s Weekend from 9th to 11th October 2026.
