Will’s London Marathon Fundraiser

Will, one of our amazing supporters remembers his wonderful dog Melvyn. He is running the London Marathon in aid of Tia. He’s already raised £683; you can sponsor him here.

“Today we think even more of Melvyn (if that’s possible, as we miss him every day) on what should have been his 9th birthday.

Don’t forget I’m running London Marathon in April and hopefully raising some money for Tia rescue in the process. Training has started well, with 35 miles the first week and 40 miles last week.

Over Christmas and the new year I ran some race/course PBs and kept on moving to make sure I had a good fitness base to give it my all, if wish to donate please see the link and thank you to those who already have!!!”

Romeo, Romeo… where art thou, Romeo? Still in kennels. What?!

After retiring in December 2023, you are STILL in kennels?! Sadly this can be reality for the black boys. It’s even worse for a dog like Romeo who desperately wants to be around people Romeo urgently needs someone to give him a chance.

Romeo is a handsome, gentle giant of a lad. A placid boy but one who needs lots of love. Romeo would do well with a family who are around a lot of the time, maybe someone retired or working from home. Romeo does need neutering so adopters in West Yorkshire, within travelling distance of Donaldsons vets, would be ideal.

So when we next ask “Romeo, Romeo… where art thou, Romeo?”, we want to hear those magic words… “I’m in a home”.
