Never you mind
12/9/16 – 31/07/25
Usual back story; only the name changes. Ireland, Sunderland and Askern. When his ruthless connections had done with him, they dumped him in a wood. Malcom’s luck had changed though, another month and he would have missed the transporter to Nairn.
His teeth were atrocious, and he looked thin and depressed. Malcolm also had only one testicle descended. It didn’t take him long to change his mind about the human race (well us anyway) and fitted in quite well. The great lemon blew the chance of a sofa and came back in handcuffs and an orange suit. Sometimes you have to take a chance but Malcolm was just too keen.
Many of our dogs are considerably older than Malcolm, so it was a huge shock when he started to fail this January. Tests confirmed the worst and steroids had held the Cancer at bay for a few months. It bought us enough time to spoil him rotten and take him to the beach. Had he got free, the seals would have been toast. Pate sandwiches were fantastic and he had a whole round last night.
We feel cheated with the passing of Malcolm. He represented the younger sponsor dogs and has left us too soon. That’s four this year and we know two others will be joining him very shortly.
Thank you to the few sponsors he had. Please consider remaining so, we have a few coming up from the Macmanus batch which are likely candidates for the future and have no-one.
Night pumpkin.
