What are you laughing for missus. Her form is nothing to laugh about, fifteen wins out of 79 runs. A better racer than her thumping big brother by a country mile. Helena saw Buster go down the drive without a backward glance and now wants to beat him at that game too.
Not the biggest of girls, say 28 kilos on a big pants day. Pretty beautiful though, you have to admit and comes with bragging rights.
“We have had the pleasure of taking Helena to a local nature reserve on a number of occasions. She is a sweet, gentle and friendly girl who walks calmly and quietly on her lead. Helena travels well in the car and makes us laugh as, when she first gets in, she has a good roll around on her back before we set off. She obviously loves the opportunity to get out and about. Helena has walked well with other hounds and has not reacted to the other breeds she has seen at the park. If we’ve seen something new and exciting (such as children playing football), she has pricked her ears and trotted along but we have never known her to pull. Helena is a beautiful girl, inside and out and will make someone a wonderful companion”
Still with her trainer at Doncaster.

Lovely type. Medium sized dog and a respectable end of career report card. We know very little about him at the moment except that he is beautiful and fed up with running around in circles. His form tailed off and that was it.
Ace can be seen with his trainer in Doncaster.
“Manny is a lovely boy whose elderly owner sadly passed away a couple of months ago. He is a dream to walk on the lead with no pulling and no dog reactivity, he just wants to be friends with everyone! We don’t know if he’s safe with cats, he likes watching them but doesn’t seem to want to catch them.
He shares his sofa/bed/toys/food without any grumbles and is definitely food motivated if you’re trying to get him to do anything. He’s a very gentle boy, great with kids and the elderly alike.
We think he is an absolute catch and would definitely be holding on to him if we didn’t already have our 2 big Tia boys, we’d like a little bit of sofa!
He gets on really well with our 2 greyhound boys, but he gets on well with all breeds; we think he’d really like a dog friend and/or someone who is at home a lot at his new home.
Manny is around 7 years old, and he’s roughly 31kg.”
If you can offer Manny a forever home, please get in touch with Deb at 07974 960684.

Comfy there young lady? Travel’s hell isn’t it. A firm seal of approval from our latest guest.
Nothing to be ashamed of with her career, Magic did her best! Last racing at the end of April 2024, this 29kg lady is now up with Tia in Scotland.
Magic will get you plenty of admirers. Her lovely coat is like that of a Holstein cow.
A cracking looking girl, just turned three.
Gone in 60 seconds.
Trialled at Doncaster back in October 2023 and turned in the trap. Bit of a klutz by all accounts. No stone was left unturned to launch his career, hand slipping included. Gloriously and spectacularly useless, top lad, three years old, smaller than his bestie at 28kgs and ready to take his place in the world. He has no idea how lucky he is.
Like Eeyore, Kenzo is part of the second welfare batch and will eventually head North to us if not homed previously. His guardian thinks he is the bees knees. Bit of a showstopper.
