Poor Joey, he is so quite and unassuming that I’d even forgotten to put him on the website.
He has been here since December.
He last raced at Kinsley in October 2020 and was sent to a rescue centre, who have unfortunately lost their kennels. Royston Animal Welfare, where Ripley came from.
He has just gone 7 years old and the chances of him finding a home are very slim….a middle aged black dog, amongst hundreds of other black dogs.
He is no bother though,

This little beauty is called Chic. She isn’t three years old yet.
She doesn’t like racing. She is a very timid little poppet who needs to go with another greyhound to show her the ropes.
She is currently with her trainer in Ripley, Derbyshire..

Born: August 2019 Nora is a very pretty petite girl, all black but with little white toes. She is Wilfred’s sister. She is a very well behaved girl who can get a little bit excitable – she is so ready to shine. Nora is in her trainers kennels in Nottingham.

Big Time Vicky was her racing name and has been here since February. She doesn’t get any offers of a home. Not like the pretty, coloured greyhounds. Well all I can say Susie, is that it is there loss and our gain, you are a pleasure to have around. You are crackers, you run like the wind and you are the best cuddle monster…
However Susie would love to be out in the world and have her own sofa…she’s heard all about that life and would now like the opportunity…She will make someone, very happy.
