The writing was on the wall soon after he came up the drive back at Moorside. Came last in both his trials in Ireland and ended up here so long ago, we had to dig out the file to find his name.

Tarzan had sponsor dog written all over him. We cannot remember even risking him in a rehome. Still he has been blissfully happy all these years and the staff love him.

Tarzan is the oldest boy here at Tia. He is now an old boy, coming up 12 years old. He is showing his age and is getting lots of extra treats and even trips to the beach.

Although he looks happier these days Woody is a nervous wreck. He came back from a trial homing with some lovely people and we gave up – it’s a pity as he’s so beautiful. He is safe and happy here.

Arrived at Tia as a terrified back of nerves, scared of her own shadow. Re-homing was out of the question and we were glad to see her settle and find some peace of mind with Jones as a kennel mate.

Lana outlived him (plus one or two others) and was moved into the garage once there was a space and has voluntarily taken up the role as guard dog to the house. It is her you can hear if you are ever in the vicinity.

Lana now lives in the house ( large kennel ) with Uriah. she loves digging massive holes in the garden and dispatching stray rabbits that foolishly venture into the garden….and eating them. Yuk!
