Hope
Well, that’s not very elegant young lady. How’s that for a bed fail. Hope came into Tia with her friend Faith a few months ago having been found straying in Leeds. Both dogs have thrived under the care of their foster folks, and we thank them for all the help. Fostering is not always easy and requires far more than just picking the dogs up from the pound.
Faith has snagged a great home for herself and now it is Hope’s turn. Described as a bit lazy and thoroughly enjoys the comforts after her adventures. Hope isn’t that big and is a sucker for naps, cwtches and belly rubs. A young dog, barely two years old and fairly small. Still with her foster folk in South Yorkshire. A little belter.
Nice jim-jams Hope.

Sassy (Tis Roundthebend)
born Apr 2021
Finished racing a month ago and just finished so far back Sassy was disqualified. Now this young lady is a huge favourite with the kennel staff. Bouncy, full of life and struts about with her tail in the air.
Also, very beautiful as you can see.

Fame (Proud Fame)
born Dec 2021
Fame was positively murdered in her what proved to be her final race. A thumping big 36 kg bloke knocked her over at the second bend. Now any girl worth her slingbacks isn’t going to take that lying down. Fame showed her displeasure, earning herself an instant dis-qualification from this stupid game.
Pity really as up to that point, Fame had proved herself to be a reliable little racer. Fame is a calm girl, sure of herself and knows her own mind. Choosy sort is how trainer put it.

Fern
Fern arrived about two months ago now and has settled in well to the routine. Her tranquillity was shattered when her brother Rusty was ushered into her boudoir with the understanding that she had to share a bed again. Rusty has now found his family and probably hasn’t given his sister a second thought!
Fern, like Rusty was found straying in this area, without a microchip or a bindle to her name. Tia reckons that she is about 18 months old, full of life and brainless to boot. The greys look upon her in disgust. Youth of today!
This lady is quite beautiful and aiming for a promotion to office dog. Completely wasted here with us and high time Fern was out of here. Probably not suitable with cats.
We can arrange for her transport to Yorkshire if required.
Simply lovely.

Marley (Read The Rules)
born June 2019
Like so many, a plain black dog looking for a soft place to fall.
Veteran of 111 races and winner of twenty of them. Poor Marley got caught up in a very rough race back in March and ended his career by showing his displeasure! He had won in some style only the fortnight before. Time he hung up his muzzle anyway.
“Marley is a lovely boy who we had the pleasure of taking to a local park today.
He travelled well in the car – jumped straight in and laid down for the journey. It was all new when we arrived, and Marley was excited when he saw other dogs to begin and did bark with excitement on a few occasions (what dog wouldn’t), but never pulled on his lead, despite other dogs being off theirs. We saw a horse, which he stood aside for and watched pass by at a distance.
By the end of our walk, Marley wasn’t really interested in what else was going on in the park, and even laid down when we stopped for a rest/photos! He loved a treat!
Jumped straight back in the car and laid down for the journey home.”
Marley is with us in in Scotland and is becoming a firm favourite with us all.

Maggie (Redbrick Bounty)
born October 2021
Another little poppet who got fed up with this ridiculous game. Five wins though until the penny dropped. Maggie kept running into a wall of dogs bigger than her and eventually learned how to keep out of trouble. SAw (Slowly away) started to creep in to her form. Atta girl Maggie love. Spayed and ready to start a new chapter. The sooner the better frankly as far as she is concerned.
Maggie has joined us in Nairn recently. Her sister JoJo is still back in Doncaster, so convenient either way if you are looking for a lovely straightforward type of girl.
