Dogs looking for homes…

Three newbies!

Three new boys looking for homes. All are stunning, even if their current racing names leave a bit to be desired! The black boys are Paudie and Cha. The brindle is called “Now Is Not The Time”. In our opinion, he should be called Now IS The Time as it’s time for new names and new homes all round!

Sydney

Sydney is an eye-catching blue boy who turned 5 on 1st June. Sydney is described by the kennel staff as “elegant, affectionate, loyal and gentle by nature”.

Sydney is a well-socialised boy and is equally happy & confident around men & women. Sydney has also been kind and sensible around the younger people he has met.

Sydney has an easy-going temperament and enjoys human attention & interaction. He’s looking forward to his retirement and a quieter pace of life.

Blackout

Poor Blackout. He’s wondering if he should rename himself “Washout” as that’s exactly what his adoption journey has been to date. A complete washout, without a single enquiry.

Blackout deserves so much more than this! He’s a gorgeous, happy, friendly boy whose tail doesn’t stop wagging!

He is described by our volunteers as “a happy, sunny, straightforward boy who needs a chance”.

Hilda

Baby Hilda is a beautiful 18 month old pup who the industry would have put to sleep as she was too small to race. At only 22kg, she might be a teeny-tiny girl, but she has the biggest heart!

Hilda loves being around both people and other dogs and is super affectionate and playful. She is currently living happily in foster with two other hounds and is great around smaller breeds.

Hilda has settled very quickly into her foster family’s routine. She is clean in the house, sleeps through the night and travels well in the car.

She is very playful with both humans and dogs and has short bursts of energy where she enjoys zoomies around the house and garden or collecting whatever prized possessions she can find. After a few minutes, she is quite happy to settle down for a snooze.

Hilda is looking for a patient and loving forever home, ideally with another dog, and no cats or small furries due to her prey drive.

Brax

When we first met Brax it was snowing. Now we’re in summer and, whilst the seasons might have changed, Brax’s situation hasn’t… he’s yet another black boy still waiting for a home.

Brax is described as a “gentleman”. The way to his heart is most definitely through his stomach as he does love his food. He’s a fair-weather boy who doesn’t like the cold weather one bit and would much rather go back to bed.

A quiet, laid-back boy who is looking for nothing more than a comfy bed and lots of tasty treats.

Mason

Want to see the difference 6 months can make?! Well take a look at Mason. In January he was picked up as a skinny stray in Barnsley.

And here he is six months on… living in Scotland and literally loving life! Bringing so much joy to his new family!

To help us change the lives of more beautiful souls like Mason, please support our 30th Anniversary Emergency Appeal by clicking on the link here. Every single one of them deserves to live a life like this.

And finally…

The girls this week…just eating.
