DONATE HERE
This year is our charity’s 30th anniversary, but instead of celebrating, Bob and I are facing one of the hardest times we’ve ever known.
Despite numerous pleas for staff and help, we are now at crisis point. We have a very small team here at the farm and a few brilliant volunteers, but it just isn’t enough.
At the moment we have no dogs here for rehoming. We have 14 dogs on site – all sponsor dogs apart from Focker – as well as the horses, 4 goats, 2 sheep and 2 cats. We will do our very best to look after them all.
Alison and her team are still rehoming dogs directly from the trainers in Yorkshire, and our team of fundraisers are still out and about in Yorkshire doing everything they can to support us.
In recent weeks, our bills have spiralled to over £100,000. This is always a difficult time of year with insurances, accountants and other costs all landing at once, but this year it’s become increasingly difficult in too many ways.
The charity is NOT giving up. But we urgently need help to keep going.
To mark our 30th anniversary, we are launching this Emergency Appeal to help secure the future of the charity and the animals in our care. Our initial target of £33,333 is the first milestone in what will be a series of appeals throughout our anniversary year, forming part of a wider fundraising effort to meet our full ongoing needs.
Please help in any way you can – whether donating, sharing this appeal, volunteering, sponsoring, or supporting us however you are able. Every bit makes a difference.
As always, thank you.
