First published almost twenty years ago and now available digitally for the first time, “A Decade of Dogs” is a frank and at times emotional insight into the day-to-day running of Tia Rescue, and the hounds at the heart of it all.
The book explores the greyhound itself – the breed’s history and the harsh realities of their lives after racing – before taking you through the founding of the charity, the challenges, and the setbacks. Woven throughout are the stories that make it all worthwhile: the adopters, the fosterers, the volunteers… and of course the dogs whose lives were changed.

Rehoming Stories – Rhys
From stray kennels to Scotland.
Since being picked up as a skinny stray towards the end of last year, gorgeous Rhys has been on quite a journey. He now lives with a wonderful family in Scotland where he is quite rightly spoilt rotten. Without Tia, Rhys’ future would have looked very different. He recently went back to say hello and thank you to his Auntie Deb (last 2 photos).
It’s thanks to you, our supporters, that Rhys’ ending was a happy one. From his foster families to his adopters and everyone in between.
