Rehoming News (18th July)

Helena

“Beautiful Helena is a sweet and friendly 4 year old, who has waved both her brothers off to pastures new, and is now patiently waiting her turn.

Helena walks calmly and quietly on her lead and is great with other hounds. Whilst she has not actively met other dogs, Helena has shown no reaction to the other breeds she has seen when out and about. Helena loves her adventures and makes us laugh when she gets in the car, as she likes to have a good roll around on her back before we set off! But once she’s on her way, she lays down and travels really well.

Helena is such a lovely girl and we would expect her to slot quickly in to her new family.”

Marley

Since retiring 15 months ago, Marley hasn’t received a single enquiry.

He is the most beautiful boy. Friendly and calm and great with other hounds. He was an absolute favourite of his trainer and a firm favourite of ours. It so sad to see him still waiting, when all this boy needs is a comfy sofa and someone to look past his colour.

Faith

Update on Faith…

This beautiful 18 month old pup has absolutely flourished in her foster home, and is hardly recognisable as the stunning but skinny stray picked up by the dog warden in early May.

Faith is an inquisitive and energetic girl who loves to play. She would love to find an active home with someone who can continue her basic training. Thanks to her foster family, she already knows her basic commands. She has been great with other dogs and is very loving and affectionate… loves nothing more than snuggling up for cuddles on the sofa at the end of the day.

She is now more than ready to move on to her next chapter.

Dougie

Doc (now Dougie) went to his new home a few weeks ago and has settled in to his new life with his Mum, Dad and Lurcher sister who all adore him! Dougie’s family are regulars at our Pickering Charity Shop, so we are looking forward to lots of visits and updates from him in the future.

We still have lots of beautiful dogs waiting to find their happy ever after like Dougie, for details visit our re-homing page here.

Please call Deb on 07974 960684 if you can offer any of these dogs a home. We request a minimum donation of £350 to adopt one of our dogs.
